Can You Lift Weights At Age 80?

Today, my mother-in-law just set a PR in the deadlift. 102 lbs for 2 reps. Age 80, bodyweight 90 lbs. Yes, you can lift weights at age 80! She is stronger now than when she started lifting heavy weights at age 75! That was in my garage in the Texas heat!!!!!

And, she set a second PR by bench pressing 50 lbs!!

The only thing to be scared about is NOT lifting weights. Which direction is your body headed?
